It wasn’t supposed to be this way. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that little Douglas is once again going to feel both devastated and heartbroken when he finds out that Hope Logan has decided not to marry his father, Thomas Forrester. For years little Douglas had been hoping for the two of them to make things official just so he could finally have the family that he’s always wanted in his life. Poor Douglas Forrester just can’t catch a break. He’s spent much of his short life harboring secrets from the adults around him that just can’t control their lives, either. He was the one who revealed that Baby Beth was still alive when Hope and Liam Spencer thought she was dead. He was also the one that told everyone that Brooke Logan was caught kissing Deacon Sharpe under the mistletoe. It seems like this little boy is just full of dark secrets and he hasn’t even graduated from elementary school yet.
Well, now it seems like he’s going to face a terrible blow when he finds out that Hope decided that she doesn’t want to spend her future with Thomas. Even though she had spent most of the last several weeks wearing her engagement ring around her neck, she just couldn’t make herself put it on her ring finger and finally told Thomas that it’s just not going to work out.
For Douglas, this is going to be all very hard to digest. There’s even a chance that he might help his father by coming up with a plan to win Hope back. It worked before, so who says it can’t work again, right?
