The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Could Clint Howard’s Character Be Cole’s Birth Father?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease Clint Howard will appear as a homeless man named Tom on April 26 and 27. He will solve a family mystery-might he be the man who’s really Cole Howard’s (J. Eddie Peck) birth father?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Eve Howard Claimed Victor Newman Was The Father

Eve Howard (Margaret Mason) had a one-night stand with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about the same time that Cole would have been conceived.

Out of this one-night stand grew a long-term obsession with Victor, and after leaving Genoa City for a period of time she returned, claiming Victor was Cole’s father.

As a result, Victor paid for all of Cole’s schooling and once DNA tests showed Victor wasn’t his father, Cole and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) became involved and married.

However, their happiness didn’t last because Cole was unfaithful, and she became pregnant in an effort to hang onto Cole. That baby, of course, was baby Eve Howard who we now know as Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

Y & R Spoilers: The Homeless Man Tom Is About The Right Age

Eve never admitted who Cole’s father was, and he never knew once he found out it wasn’t Victor-even though Victor continued to treat him like a son, even after the divorce.

The homeless man, Tom, who comes into the picture is about the right age to have fathered Cole with Eve, and it just seems right for Cole to have those answers.

He never expected to find his daughter alive and grown up after all these years, and perhaps Tom will feel the same way meeting him. They could find out they are father and son several different ways-Tom may find a copy of the newspaper and read the story meant to draw Jordan (Colleen Zenk) out.

The story may mention the name “Eve Howard” as who baby Eve was named after, and even if he doesn’t know of Cole’s existence he would Eve’s!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Homeless No More

A scenario is easily possible where once Tom has met Cole that a paternity test will be done if Tom knows the right answers regarding Eve. Considering Tom is homeless, his backstory could be involvement with Eve in a mental institution-unfortunately, it is true there are many with mental illness among the homeless.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) started his charity, New Hope for people just like Tom, to provide care and affordable housing and there is also a free health clinic.

Tom could come to know of the Newmans and Cole through New Hope as well, and Cole will certainly take steps to make sure his newfound birth father’s taken care of. It will be interesting to see if indeed, this is how things play out-even if he’s only supposed to appear for two episodes.
