Kate Middleton Cancer Diagnosis: Royals Disgusted By Online Bullying

Kate Middleton has finally revealed why she has been under the radar these last several months. The Princess of Wales has announced that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Even though she didn’t specify what kind of cancer she has, she said it was discovered while she had undergone abdominal surgery back in January and has been having chemotherapy ever since. It’s been suggested that the Princess of Wales finally opened up about what is really going on simply because there has been so much online bullying. There was heavy speculation that Prince William and Kate Middleton were getting a divorce and some even suggested that the princess might not have had surgery at all. The heavily doctored image of Kate for her Mother’s Day photo fueled the online speculation even more. 

Asking for her family’s privacy, Kate said in her video, “We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.

“At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”

She also said, “William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.”
