Meghan Markle is sure not winning herself any new fans these days. She launched her new website during one of the biggest controversies that the royal family has ever seen with Kate Middleton’s photoshopping edits and fail. Even though much of the press that Kate has been getting has been the negative kind, it seems like Meghan Markle still wanted to steal her thunder for one reason or another. A lot of critics are surely scratching their heads over this one.
Of course, many royal fans and critics alike have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “Meghan won’t allow anyone in the press without making sure her name is there too. Look how she attached herself to the Princess Catherine kerfuffle. We don’t call her MeMe for nothing!” along with, “It’s like watching a reality show about Narcissism. But then she wouldn’t be Meghan… The Queen of Megiccism.”
Another critic wrote, “The real royal family never announce anything new on another royal’s important day. Especially a higher ranking royal or spouse. I’m an American and even I know that is poor form in their eyes.”
And then there was this comment as well, “I’ll say it again: The Sussex strategy is to take advantage of someone else’s opportunity or perceived weakness and claim innocence when backlash happens. Narcissism 101.”
