General Hospital actor Steve Burton is one of the hottest stars in the daytime television world and for good reason, too. And that’s not just because he gained heartthrob status pretty quickly when he made his debut several decades ago, but also because he still has a huge fan base that has supported him throughout all of the ups and downs in both his personal and professional lives. Say what you will about someone like Steve Burton, but there’s no denying that he’s a survivor. He’s managed to find stable work in the daytime television industry at a time when a lot of his former co-stars have struggled to make ends meet. When he was fired from General Hospital for not complying with the ABC network’s vaccine mandate, he found work at Days of Our Lives. And now several years later, he’s back in Port Charles as his character, Jason Morgan.
On the personal front, Steve has been very quiet about his family life and his love life. His divorce from his ex-wife Sheree Burton was certainly a headline grabber, as it was revealed that she was pregnant with another man’s baby while the two of them were still together. While Sheree has certainly moved on, Steve has made no comments nor has he made any indication that he’s ready to date other women. But then again, that could be something that he’s chosen to keep to himself as well. When he’s ready to debut his new girlfriend, the fans will be excited to see her for sure!
Steve has also signed a two-year contract with General Hospital, which means that fans will be seeing him on the canvas for a very long time. That’s certainly very good news for long-time viewers of the show. Here’s hoping that Steve continues to receive all of the good fortune that has some his way for a long time to come.
