Does Nick Newman have a drinking problem? That’s what a lot of The Young and the Restless fans can’t help but wonder. That’s mostly because he seems to be drinking his troubles away in almost every episode and that’s something fans have taken notice of.

Of course, it didn’t take very long for many The Young and the Restless fans to weigh in on the matter. Many of them wrote on social media, “It seems to be like Nick has a drinking problem. He’s always at the bat. If Nick has so much free time in the evenings he should go home! He’d rather sit alone at a bar. I guess the nanny does everything,” along with, “While Nick is at the GCAC lounge having drinks with Phyllis, who is taking care of invisible Christian? He’s better off being at boarding school just like Johnny and Katie.”

Another Y&R critic wrote, “Yeah Nick is at the bar almost every evening. This isn’t making much sense. What kind of father is he, really? Christian’s babysitter is making a TON of money. Maybe Claire can take care of him.”
