It seems like a lot of people can agree with this one: many The Bold and the Beautiful fans have agreed that it’s time for the show to bring on an LGTBQ character, and especially one that will work at Forrester Creations. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Is it time for Forrester Creations to hire a designer that is from the LGTBQ community? That’s what many The Bold and the Beautiful viewers have been saying as they’ve scratched their heads over the fact that it hasn’t happened yet!
Many B&B fans have taken to social media to share comments such as, “B&B is the only show that doesn’t have any gay characters, it so strange because it’s a fashion house and it’s impossible not to have gay designers , I think there is no equal opportunity for gay talent in Forrester Creations,” along with, “I agree! But let’s not forget that Rick’s wife was trans but then again sh wasn’t a designer on the show.”
Another critic wrote, “The writers of the show must be stuck in a different timeline or year because there’s no need for just two old white men to be designing clothes for women. That doesn’t happen anymore. As much as the show likes to think that it’s fashion forward it looks like the ideals are still stuck in time. Yes I agree that it’s time for a gay character or at least more representation from the LGBTQ community because that is one thing the show is lacking right now. They need to get with the times.”
So far the writers of the show have not made any comments about the criticism they’ve received.
