Many General Hospital fans noticed right away that actress Amanda Setton was completely covered up from head to toe in all black during the Oscars on Sunday night. The actress, who is best known for her role as Brook Lynn Quartermaine on the hit ABC soap, has made it pretty clear in more ways than one that she’s not going to compromise her values for the show or for Hollywood for that matter. A photo was posted on social media of Amanda and her husband, who is a music producer, at the Oscars on Sunday night. The General Hospital actress had on a very conservative black dress that covered her arms and her legs, which is similar to the fashion that she often wears on the show, too. Clearly, this is the style that she is most comfortable with.

Back in December, there were rumors swirling on soap Twitter that Amanda Setton and Josh Swickard had agreed not to do any love scenes together on the show, despite the fact that their characters are currently engaged to get married. But it turned out that Amanda simply didn’t want to do any sex scenes with her co-star because of her own personal beliefs.

General Hospital News: Amanda’s Conservative Style

Amanda did receive some backlash for not wanting to do any love scenes with her partner. After all, she is an actress and even though she wants to stay true to her beliefs, many General Hospital fans also pointed out that she should stick to the script and stay true to her character, especially if she is acting in front of the cameras.
