Spencer, is that really you? General Hospital alum Nicolas J. Becthel looks absolutely unrecognizable in his new profile pic on X. That’s mostly because the handsome young boy has grown up to be a handsome young man and General Hospital fans just can’t get enough of it! Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Nicolas, who was once best known for his role as Spencer Cassadine on the hit ABC soap, does not look like the same young boy that soap fans grew to know and love back in the day. Many of his social media followers commented on his photo with, “Nicholas, what a handsome young man you’ve become like the handsome young boy you were. 19 I would never in my life that it’s been that long. We miss you in General Hospital. God bless you with many blessings,” along with, “Wish you could come back. I loved every scene you ever did, your great kid. INCREDIBLY HANDSOME!”
Another fan wrote, “Wow! You look so handsome. Miss you. We need the original Spencer to come back on the show ASAP.”
Back in November, Nicolas’ tribute to his late co-star Tyler Christopher sure did break a lot of hearts. Sharing a throwback photo of the two of them together, Nicolas wrote in his caption, “Our chemistry was unmatched. Working with you for so many years was a pleasure and a blessing. Some may argue we were the greatest Father/Son duo on Daytime, and I agree. My heart is with Greysun, Bo, and all of the people who love you. Rest In Eternal Peace.”
One fan wrote at the time, “You and Tyler brought us so many incredible moments on #gh. You were father and son – our Cassadine princes. I’m so sorry because I know you loved him as so many of us did. It’s heartbreaking.”
