General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, March 11 tease hot pursuit, caught in the act, and difficult decisions. John Cates (Adam Harrington) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are still in hot pursuit, Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) caught in the act, and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has a difficult decision.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) appear to be sitting in a car in the dark like they’re trying to recreate some long ago make out session.
Spinelli asks Maxie if he can see, and Maxie just responds, “uh oh!” They’re trying to work things out and overcome their differences but it’s a slow going process.
They finally only revealed their true feelings for each other under heavy duress. That was when Agent Cates almost arrested them over Spinelli’s drone tape.
In the meantime, Cates and Anna are still in hot pursuit of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and trying to search an uncooperative Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house.
Anna warns Carly to get out of their way, or she’ll get arrested. In the meantime, Jason is just out of sight, injured and still bleeding, hiding at the top of a staircase.
They weren’t quite finished with Carly’s first aid job when the knock came on the door. Carly quickly cleaned up the scene and appears to have changed her clothes, and is actively trying to stall!
In the meantime, Jason’s son Jake is caught in the act over at his mother Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house. Or, at least we can presume it’s there unless they’re at Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) place. Jake swears to someone, likely Finn, it’s not what it looks like.
Perhaps he did get that vaping device away from Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) after all and it’s in one of his pockets. It’s understandable how Finn, a recovering addict might be upset if he saw it.
Finn talks to Elizabeth, asking if he just overstepped with her son, and considering Aiden Spencer’s (Enzo DeAngelis) is nowhere in sight, he’s talking about Jake. Again, Finn may have overreacted over something Jake did and Elizabeth does not look happy at all over it.
Finn may be a good dad to Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) but he doesn’t have a lot of experience with teenage boys! And, considering Elizabeth and Finn aren’t married or even living together, usurping her parental authority definitely would be overstepping!
Elsewhere, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will try to comfort Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) who’s obviously the last one to know about his childhood friend Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Sasha tells him it’s about time for him to learn anyway, and she has to be talking about Dante being in serious condition after being shot. He took two bullets close range through his bulletproof vest, obviously they were armor piercing bullets.
Jason helped him as much as he could before he heard sirens, left his burner phone and Dante. Then Josslyn Jacks, (Eden McCoy) Dex Heller, (Evan Hofer) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) arrived.
Meanwhile, Carly’s still trying to stall Anna and Cates, and she’s on the phone to someone, likely Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She leaves a detailed message to call back as soon as possible and find a way to stop them.
Carly’s getting a bit frantic, considering she wasn’t able to finish with Jason’s bullet wound before Anna and Cates showed up. Sonny may or may not be able to stop what’s happening but he certainly would try!
At the hospital, Sam is still with Sonny, and it sounds like she’s had to make a difficult decision. She asks Sonny if he understands what she’s asking him to do-since she and Dante aren’t married, that makes Sonny his next of kin.
Of course Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) would be a next of kin as well but it sounds like a request too difficult for Olivia.
Dante’s brain activity may have ceased, and it’s that kind of a difficult decision that must be made. Leave him on life support, or wait and see if he comes back?
