As many royal fans are aware of by now, Kate Middleton was hospitalized with abdominal surgery back in January and has been in recovery mode ever since. She’s only been seen in public one time, and that was when she was in the car with her mother, Carole Middleton. But the palace has not released any information or details about her situation, nor have they said anything about her recovery. This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder if there’s more going on than what the royal family wants the public to know.

Of course, the Duchess of Sussex wants to reach out to Kate. She knows what it’s like to be under the thumb of  the royal family. That’s why she broke free and left with Prince Harry to start their own lives in California. But at the same time, her heart is aching for Kate. She’s been there, done that, and knows that she never wants to be in that situation again. That’s why she wants to protect her.

Now, whether or not Meghan will have the ability to reach Kate remains to be seen, but for now it doesn’t look like she has any plans to travel to the UK anytime soon.
