The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) could be crushed by her younger sister Katie Abbott’s (Sienna Mercuri) rejection. Should Katie not accept Claire as her older sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) could face a double daughter dilemma!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Lots Of Love So Far

Claire has received lots of love so far, of course from her parents Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and even her grandparents accept her.

Both Nikki and Victor Newman (Melody Thomas Scott, Eric Braeden) realize she was under Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) evil control and have forgiven her. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) hasn’t interacted with her too much but seems to accept her now, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is busy with Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) OCD issues.

Claire’s yet to meet her cousins Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and her aunt Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Claire Ordway) and her babies, and hasn’t met Connor either, nor Nick’s other three. And then there are her siblings-Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake LeBeau) Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and her little sister Katie.

Y & R Spoilers: Claire Grace Loves Children

Claire loves children and is good with them-it may take a while before she meets Connor, since he’s going to be in therapy and Adam’s not sure about trusting Claire yet.

The nurses at the hospital trusted Claire around children, her friendship with young Nadia (Coco Nation) proved that-so having a little sister will be good news to Claire. She’s bonded with her parents, calling Victoria “Mom” and Cole “Dad” although she can’t quite get to the calling Victor “Grandpa” point.

But then she’s noticed that his grown children tend to refer to him by his first name as well-but Claire seems to “get him” which he’s pleased with. Claire would look forward to having a sisters relationship with the much younger Katie-unless she’s aged up by the writers, she would be ten years old now.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: What If Katie Abbott Hears About Claire And What She Did?

With the Newmans being an important family and Jordan being a cross-country fugitive, it’s possible she could hear about Claire having lured the family to Oregon.

The family has tried the best they can to keep their ordeal out of the press, but sometimes gory details leak out-and Katie would be too young to understand. Reed and Johnny are older and they may handle it better, but Katie may not trust her older sister, having heard she previously harmed her family.

Claire would be crushed at Katie’s rejection and Victoria would have the daunting task of trying to explain things to Katie in a way she’d understand. But even if it’s not for that reason Katie would reject Claire, she’s been the only girl and the princess-she may very well get jealous with another girl in the family!
