Back in 2022, Kimberlin Brown, who is best known for her role as Sheila Carter on both The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless, said that soap contracts are usually written so writers are given an option on what to do with certain characters and their storylines. That’s why contracts are renewed every three to six months. She even told Soaps.com in an interview, “But our contracts are written so that the show has an option on us — I believe — every three to six months.”

Back in 2023, and during an impromptu Q&A session on Instagram, Kimberlin said that she did sign a long-term deal with The Bold and the Beautiful and that she was still under contract. Seeing how this is already 2024, no indication has been made that her contract is off, which means fans can easily still assume that she is part of the cast.

Now, as far as when Sheila Carter will be back on the canvas is anyone’s guess, but we have a feeling that her story is far from over just yet.
