Ivanka Trump Slammed For Extravagant Trip To India

Could they have spent this money helping out the poor instead? That’s what a lot of critics can’t help but wonder as Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are being slammed for their extravagant trip to India for the pre-wedding celebrations of India’s richest man. But they weren’t the only celebrities that were in attendance. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Celeb News: Ivanka Trump Slammed For Extravagant Trip To India

Ivanka has made it pretty clear that she wants to steer clear from anything that has to do with politics as she would rather be a celebrity again. And that’s exactly what she did as she and her husband Jared along with so many other A-listers like Rihanna attended billionaire heir Anant Ambani and fiancée Radhika Merchant lavish wedding celebrations. Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg were also at the event and it’s been reported that Rihanna was paid a whopping $6 million for her five-minute performance.

However, there are some people out there who think that Ivanka and her husband Jared could have used their wealth to good use while in the poverty-stricken country. Some people have even commented on the matter on social media with, “Immoral people. If I traveled to India, I would be supporting nonprofits to help starving children- not spending tens of thousands on childish costumes and posing for IG,” along with, “Terribly extravagant, but hopefully giving work to many people.  And the wedding is not even until July? Does this mean everybody will be trekking back for another go round? I would bet also that the couple doesn’t even know 98% of the invitees.”

Celeb News: Was The Trip To India Worth It?

Another critic wrote, “The Kushner/Trump grifters going after the Indian billionaire! They got it from the Saudi’s so now India. However, I think she (Ivanka) looks simply stunning. The different outfits she and her daughter are wearing are beautiful. This woman could wear a paper bag and she would look gorgeous. She had a beautiful mom and those beautiful genes got passed down to her daughter.”

So far Ivanka herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received.
