The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, March 1: Phyllis’ Temptation, Nikki’s Alarm, Claire’s Undoing?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, March 1 tease that recovering alcoholic Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) gets a big surprise which may not be the best thing for her right now.

This could involve her former employee Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) who it turns out is also her heretofore unknown granddaughter. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been wrangling to get Claire released from rehab early and with Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) magic, he succeeds.

But is Nikki ready to start residing with the woman who tried to kill her?

Claire is saying all of the right things, for instance that she is grateful that she is being allowed to join the family by being a pawn to lure out Jordan (Colleen Zenk).

Victor’s plot is dicey and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) especially is concerned that Claire is not ready for this. Victor wants a statement released regarding Claire’s release, plus a family photo showing that she is at Victoria’s home.

Of course Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will go berserk when she sees what Victor has done—used his clout to get Claire’s release and welcoming her into the lap of luxury.

Victor is counting on this outrageous stunt to lure Jordan out of hiding. But is she really that gullible? This is a woman who hooked Nikki up to a vodka IV, she thinks outside the box.

Jordan has it in her to outmaneuver Victor, plus she has an ace up her sleeve. The wild card is Seth (Brian Gaskill), Nikki’s former AA sponsor who she has befriended.

Show spoilers indicate that Jordan could is a worthy adversary and Victor’s plan could take a wildly unexpected turn. You got that?

Meanwhile, sneaky Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is not ready to let go of her ex Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Danny is in the middle of a spite sandwich made by gorgeous Phyllis and beautiful Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). He doesn’t like it one bit. What kind of rock star is he?

Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bergman) has known the trio since forever and she suggested that Danny may have feelings for Red despite his protestations.

Fans should expect to see Phyllis to test that theory by tempting Danny with an offer he may not be able to refuse. Spoiler alert: Upcoming scenes at Society show Phyllis and Danny having what looks like a romantic night out on the town!
