Prince William’s bizarre behavior is sparking some major concern. Just this past week the prince of Wales skipped out on his godfather’s King Constantine of Greece memorial service. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, who often has rather positive things to say about the monarchy and of course, Prince William and Kate Middleton, couldn’t help but point out that the Prince of Wales’ absence from his godfather’s funeral is certainly raising more than just eyebrows. In an interview with the Daily Mail, the royal expert said, “William’s non-appearance at the Memorial Service for his godfather King Constantine, the last king of Greece, owing to a personal matter is certainly unexpected. This will be an event that William will be extremely sad to have been unable to attend.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For The Prince Of Wales?

Fitzwilliams continued, “King Charles was close to King Constantine and his second cousin. Queen Camilla led the royal family. Princess Anne deputized for him at the King’s funeral in Greece last year as he could not attend owing to a prior commitment. The late Queen famously met Camilla at a party given by Charles when Prince of Wales for King Constantine’s 60th Birthday which was symbolically a highly important moment in their relationship and seen as giving her approval to it.”

Of course, Prince William himself has not made any comments about the matter but at this point, it’s doubtful that he will. But then again, there are only so many times that William can use “personal reasons” as a way to back out of his royal engagements. Sooner or later he’s going to have to admit the truth about what is really going on behind the scenes. After all, he is the future king of England and the British public deserves to know.
