The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Amanda Sinclair Almost Didn’t Come Back

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Mishael Morgan admits that her return to the soap was a spur of the moment decision. In other words, Amanda Sinclair’s return to Genoa City almost didn’t happen. But thankfully it did, right? As many of her fans probably already know, she’s been busy juggling other projects while also raising her family off-screen. There’s no doubt that the actress has her hands full but would never miss on the opportunity to come back to her soap roots. Amanda might be a trouble maker at times but at least she creates the kind of trouble that fans love to see on the small screen.

The actress put it this way to the publication, “It was a very last-minute call. Somebody wasn’t able to come in, and I was asked to fill in for them [to] help kind of push that story forward, so [the storyline] didn’t have to be at a standstill. I think that’s the great thing about still being on the canvas, and still being attached to the show as recurring — I can show up and I can do those things and when it works out for my schedule, especially when it’s last-minute, it’s almost better. [Then] I can come in and have some fun and play in Genoa City.”

Either way, fans are definitely happy that Amanda is back even if it’s just for a brief moment. Here’s hoping that more of these spur-of-the-moment decisions happen for Mishael in the future too, right?
