The Young and the Restless star Michael Mealor is a soap opera actor that fans absolutely love. Michael, who is best known for his role as Kyle Abbott on the hit CBS soap, recently opened up about some of the things that he loves and some of the things that he loves to hate (if that’s even possible!). Sometimes you think you know everything there is to know about your favorite daytime television stars until you realize there’s just so much more to learn about them. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Michael Mealor that if he weren’t an actor, he would be a writer. He’s very passionate about writing.
When asked if he went to college now what his major would be, Michale said, “Architecture. The design and construction of buildings and homes are a beautiful art form to me.”
If cost weren’t a factor, Michael says that he would open his own recording studio or start a record label as a business. Also, when asked about his favorite attraction at Disney World, he said, “Indiana Jones. I love the fast rides that jerk you around.” We would definitely agree with that answer!
Now, as far as what his favorite vegetable is (because that’s a burning question that every serious journalist asks), he said, “Mushrooms. I’ve just never enjoyed the taste. I don’t remove them, but mushroom pizza is my least favorite.” Now that’s something many The Young and the Restless fans can relate to.
