Y&R Spoilers Update Friday, February 23: Michael’s Legal Trick, Victoria’s Terror, Ashley’s Reversal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 23 show that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) remains a loose cannon. What is going on with her?

Do the writers even know? There are too many possibilities to explain her behavior, suffice it to say that it doesn’t look like fans will be getting any answers anytime soon.

Expect to see the patient, sensible sister, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), be concerned after an alarming convo with Ashley. It turns out that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) has a change of heart about her trajectory and that means whatever she is planning for serial cheat and lying liar of the lies, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Michael Has a Job to do For Victor

Elsewhere Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is onscreen because he is needed by benevolent dictator Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Michael is Victor’s go-to legal eagle and this latest ask could have to do with getting Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) released early from her rehab program. But Victor never does anything that doesn’t also benefit himself!

Y&R spoilers: Victor Needs Legal Help

We can tell you that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is outraged to find out what Victor is up to. She was not pleased when he involved Claire in his scheme to trap Evil Auntie Jordan (Colleen Zenk). All she had to do was tell Jordan a little white lie if she ever called her again.

There was really no great harm that could come to Claire, but Victor is impatient and he has amped up his plan. Instead of waiting for Jordan to pounce, he’s arranging Claire’s early release to lure the demented woman into a trap.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Victoria is Outraged

When Victoria finds out about Victor’s maneuvering, she is scared for Claire, who will now be in her custody. Victoria wants what’s best for her daughter, but Victor only cares about keeping his wife and children safe.

Victor tells Victoria that his plan is safe and there will be extra security to protect her and Claire. He may also sweet talk Victoria about being reunited with Claire, even though it is to suit his ultimate end game. Victoria is conflicted, but Victor is determined!
