The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chelsea Newman sure isn’t giving her ex a chance at all, now is she? Even though Adam Newman has done everything he can to try to redeem himself (without blatantly trying to erase his past), that still doesn’t seem to be enough for her. Adam is upset that he’s not being given more of a say in the upbringing of their son Connor, but that doesn’t seem to matter much to Chelsea. A lot of fans have noticed that she’s gaslighitng him and might even be quite mentally abusive as Adam continues to struggle co-parenting him. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
During the most recent episode of The Young and the Restless, Chelsea told Billy that Adam is spiralling out of control and that she has to be the calm one in their situation. But is she really telling the truth? Of course, many Y&R fans did have a lot to say about the matter. Many comments included:
I love Chelsea and all but it annoys me how she’s putting him down to Billy and knowing Billy hates him and he can get away with putting Adam down, yet Adam doesn’t bad mouth either one to Sally and does nothing but compliment Chelsea.
She literally poisoned a man, set up Adam and was planning to have Connor live on the run his whole life. Then when her poison victim died, she tried to kill herself.
So she goes off to see Connor and Billy tags along – so is Billy now Connor’s surrogate father? So billy gonna take Chelsea to see Conner but Adam can’t.
