Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has made a splashing return to Genoa City, and while she’s trying to make it seem like she’s over Devon Hamilton-Winters’s (Bryton James) betrayal, she isn’t fooling anyone.

She had an awkward conversation with Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) recently, under the guise that she wanted to smooth things over at Chancellor-Winters.

She brought up the underlying conflict between Devon and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), looking for insight to help clear the air; however, Abby refused to get involved.

During the chat, there was mention of Abby’s hot pursuit of a CW board seat, but a final vote is still needed. Could Amanda swoop in and steal Abby’s thunder?

Y&R Spoilers: Amanda Sinclair Might Not Be In GC For Long

Y&R spoilers hint that Amanda might not be in Genoa City for too long, only because actress Mishael Morgan is on recurring status with the soap.

Still, there are plenty of actors on the show with that same type of contract, and while they may not be seen onscreen weekly, their storylines continue to move forward.

Amanda could easily steal that Chancellor-Winters board seat up from under Abby and continue with her business outside of Genoa City. After all, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) isn’t always seen on canvas, but her name gets dropped, a lot.

From telephone conversations to video chat, Amanda could still play an active role in the daytime drama and this storyline, without playing an “active role” in it.

Y&R Spoilers: Amanda Sinclair Is Still A Tad Bitter

Amanda might still be bothered by Devon and Abby’s one-nighter. After all, the two are not only a bonafide couple now after the big event but are raising little Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) together as a family.

They are enjoying their happily ever after, while she may still be picking up the pieces of her life and taking care of her ailing mom.

As both an Abbott and a Newman, Abby grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth. While she’s got an excellent work ethic, because of her mother and father, things did get handed to her. Meanwhile, Amanda had to fight for everything she’s ever achieved.

Snagging that CW spot will not only offer a source of shocking vengeance for Ms. Sinclair, but it may also teach Abby a lesson; she can’t always get everything she wants, right?
