Many The Young and the Restless fans couldn’t help but wonder why the term ‘OCD’ seemed to be so puzzling for Chelsea. In fact, some fans can’t even help but wonder if everyone in Genoa City seems to be living under a rock as they haven’t heard of the term. Not only that, but Chelsea even refused to let Adam google it and told Billy, “Most people don’t know” what it is. This has prompted a lot of fans of the show to wonder what the heck is going on over at the writing room because none of this seems to make sense in the real world.
Many critics have even commented on the matter with, “Damn, can they pull a ‘Dallas’ and have someone wake up from the nightmare of the past few years? Chelsea is still telling Adam what not to do? WTH? What bizarre writing. These soaps are drunk,” along with, “Twilight zone. I may or may not need a drink. Could’ve at least had a funny throwaway line about how Google will have you thinking you’re gonna die if you ever look up any kind of symptoms.”
Another critic wrote, “That’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard yet. Also, they keep talking about a kid we never see and who is away at boarding school. None of this makes sense anymore. Someone fire the entire writing team. This is getting too much.”
