Piers Morgan Concerned About Prince William’s Alcoholism?

Is Kate Middleton concerned about her husband Prince William’s drinking? That’s what a lot of royal fans can’t help but wonder and especially after Piers Morgan made a very interesting admission about the future king of England. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Piers Morgan Concerned About Prince William’s Alcoholism?

In his latest article for The Sun, Piers Morgan suggests that the Prince of Wales began drinking before he was a teen. He said that when he first met Prince William he was just 13 years old. He had accompanied his mother Princess Diana for their interview at the time and was shocked to see the young boy drinking wine. When Princess Diana tried to hide William’s drinking, the young boy said, “But Mummy, I drink it all the time.”

Now, whether or not Prince William still enjoys a glass of wine each night no one really knows, but his brother-in-law Mike Tindall has nicknamed him “One Pint Willy” which suggests that he probably doesn’t even drink at all. 

Still, a lot of royal fans can’t help but wonder what Kate Middleton has to say about all of this, especially since Prince William loved to drink during his clubbing days. Of course, many royal fans and critics alike have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have commented with, “So Piers wants us to know William has a drinking problem. While Kate is still settling from her planned and successful abdominal surgery. Interesting,” along with, “Yeah, I believe this as well..why mention this particular story after so many years? There’s obviously a ban for the press regarding Kate’s disappearance and he’s trying to reveal the problem.”

Is Piers Morgan Trying To Spill Tea?

Another critic wrote, “He wrote about this in his book The Insider back in 2005. It may be old tea, but it is interesting that Piers has decided to give this some context now (or stir the pot, if you prefer). These column quotes are lifted almost identically from his book.”

So far Buckingham Palace has made no comments about the matter.
