Even though Ivanka is keeping her distance from her father’s bid for reelection this year, some people think that her friendship with Kim Kardashian might negatively impact her father’s campaign. That’s because no one wants to be associated with a Kardashian, apparently. One source close to the situation suggests that Ivanka might be moving in the wrong direction. The tipster put it this way, “Ivanka Trump has always pulled herself together. She’s quite stunning and seems very intelligent. There is a legitimacy about her.”

Not only that, but Ivanka doesn’t seem to be bothered by the criticism seeing how she and Kim Kardashian actually have a legitimate friendship, unlike so many other celebrity “friends” in the entertainment industry. Or at least, that’s what it looks like.

The tipster added, “Kim and Ivanka have been friends for years and have hung out on a number of occasions. They initially bonded a decade ago at the Met Gala over motherhood and being new moms. But they continued to connect numerous times over the years.”

Now, whether or not Ivanka Trump does end up hurting her father’s campaign because of her association with Kim Kardashian remains to be seen, but for now it doesn’t seem like anyone is complaining about it. That’s because Ivanka isn’t using their friendship as an opportunity to promote herself more than she already has. Not only that, but she also hasn’t made any comments about the matter either although at this point it’s doubtful that she will.
