General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, February 20 tease surprising updates, requests for information and salvation opportunities.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has a surprising update, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) a request for information, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) offers a salvation opportunity.
Jordan has a surprising update for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) on the investigation into whose bullet landed in him at the Metro Court pool. She is surprised to convey she doesn’t anticipate much pushback on that, considering she and Anna spent a night in jail over it.
She and Anna got nothing but pushback when they cornered O’Neill, (Jeff Leaf) an arms dealer-John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) complained they were interfering in his investigation.
They’ll continue working on the case as much as they’re allowed. Hopefully, Anna being Police Commissioner for the PCPD will take care of any further pushback from the FBI.

At the Metro Court restaurant, Laura has requests for information from Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) as Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is by her side. She wants to know what decision Robert’s office has made on something, and it’s likely going to concern Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
Even though Charlotte was shot as a suspected intruder by Anna-something Anna couldn’t forgive herself for-at the end of the day, she still broke into her apartment.
There was premeditation because she stole her apartment key to enter and look in a box of papers. Robert as the district attorney would have to decide whether Charlotte, now well recovered from her gunshot wound will be tried for the crime or put in a juvenile detention facility.
Elsewhere in the Metro Court Anna approaches Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) who’s sitting at the bar with an opportunity to save lives.
Cyrus looks a bit askance and he’ll likely have some questions, although it may sound interesting to him. Anna is looking for someone on the outside of Pentonville who has contacts within, and Cyrus has a prison ministry.
Perhaps he can find out from one of his followers who might have leaked information about the prison transport and Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) being transferred. If they can find who leaked it, they can question to whom they leaked it since Olivia was executed mob style.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is also investigating-and he’s telling someone at the Metro Court they have to find someone’s trainer.
He must be trying to find a higher up as well to get leads on the people taking mob bosses down all over the country-his father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) included.
Sometimes the word “trainer” is used interchangeably with a “handler” meaning the person who gives an order for a takedown or a hit. However, Sonny and Dante will get into a bit of a kerfuffle in this episode, as Dante’s father will rebuff him.
Back to Cyrus and Anna, he asks her why she’d want to save him-she must have given him the details on the Mob Boss murderer or murderers.
Cyrus absolutely could be a target even though he hasn’t been involved in mob activity for quite a while. Anna obviously must be offering him some kind of protection if he does the job she’s asking him to do.
Cyrus will obviously have to think long and hard about this salvation opportunity. What will be his answer-yes, or no?
Sonny has some questions for someone whose help he’s asking for, asking will they do this for him or not? He and Dante may be talking, although if he’s rebuffing Dante he’d hardly want his help with something.
He may be talking to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) about divorce or legal separation papers for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). It would be a little early for divorce papers since they only broke up on New Years’ Eve and it’s only a few days past Valentine’s Day. Impatient Sonny wants an answer to the question!
Back at the Metro Court bar, Diane does indeed serve Nina with some kind of legal summons as she slides a large brown envelope to her across the bar.
Nina will be confused as to what this is, is she being sued by Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for her half of the Metro Court or what? She hasn’t even started on the article she mentioned to Valentin when they were at the Invader.
It’s too early for a divorce from Sonny although it could be separation papers as mentioned previously. Nina no doubt will be anxious though worried to see what’s in the envelope.
