Deacon hasn’t had to defend his relationship with Sheila for some time because Hope has been busy dealing with other things.

However, Hope will take the time to stop by and visit her father only to have the same old fight again. Hope refuses to associate with Deacon as long as he is with Sheila. Hope has some pretty harsh words for dear old dad.

Deacon and Sheila have been pretty quiet and enjoying running Il Giardino and their engagement. Of course, no one knows about the latter.

However, no one wants them together, especially Hope. Hope is genuinely afraid that Sheila may end up hurting her father or someone else they love. Hope wants Deacon to end things with Sheila now.
