That’s because her sister Pippa Middleton was spotted vacationing in the Caribbean with her family this week. Kate Middleton is supposedly recovering from her abdominal surgery at home in Norfolk. And while some people think there’s more to her hospitalization story, that might be it. Pippa wouldn’t be vacationing with her family if the Princess of Wales was truly in danger, right?

Of course, many royal fans and critics did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “Yeah, I stopped being worried when Harry dipped in for 20 minutes and immediately returned to his regularly scheduled programming,” along with, “This whole situation is so weird. Where are the screaming headlines about Pippa abandoning her sister and family in their hours of need? It’s just all too weird.”

Another critic wrote, “I believed #WhereIsKateMiddleton was seriously ill at first. Now this situation is starting to feel like a publicity stunt. They either don’t care or all of this was done over plastic surgery. I guess we’ll see once they stop hiding her.”
