Meghan Markle Skips The Super Bowl Because Of Taylor Swift

If the spotlight isn’t on her, then she doesn’t want to be there. There’s heavy speculation that Meghan Markle has decided to skip the Super Bowl because she knew that all eyes would be on Taylor Swift, her boyfriend Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Earlier reports indicated that Meghan and her husband Prince Harry were supposed to attend the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas but have pulled out from their plans at the very last minute. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be at the Super Bowl on Sunday night. Instead, the couple will prepare on their upcoming trip to Canada to help promote the first ever version of the Invictus Winter Games. For a lot of royal fans, this is a head scratcher as Prince Harry had just attended the NFL Honors Ceremony a few nights ago, prompting speculation that he would be at the Super Bowl. After all, he did attend the event last year with his cousin, Princess Eugenie.

But for the Duchess of Sussex, there’s no way that she’s going to attend the Super Bowl knowing that all eyes will be on Taylor Swift and her A-list friends. Seeing how Meghan and Taylor are not close, the former Hollywood actress would feel like a D-list star sitting far away from all the real action of the night.

Then again, Meghan Markle is getting used to being snubbed by the Hollywood elite crowd. She also wasn’t included in this year’s issue of the most influential women in the world by British Vogue magazine. Maybe she was number 41 and just missed the cut, right? 

So far the Duchess of Sussex herself has made not comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that she will.
