General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, February 9 tease confusing conundrums, making up and moving forward.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finds herself in a confusing conundrum, Willow and Michael Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen, Chad Duell) make up, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wants someone to move forward.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) are out with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) having some fun.
Sasha looks askance as Maxie and Spinelli both have odd looks when Cody suggests raising the stakes a little. It sounds like Cody wants them to take a gamble, possibly placing bets on something.
No one knows better than Sasha that Cody just needs to stay away from gambling. Perhaps even if he’s not using money!
It looks like Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) are at the Savoy having lunch when he shares a discovery he’s made.
Jordan had asked him to help on the investigation she and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) were working on to find Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) shooter.
Brick tells Jordan he thinks she needs to consider the much bigger picture. She may be thinking too much inside the box when she should be thinking outside it.
It looks like Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are also at the Savoy as he’s concerned and cautious over her. She looks pretty sad as he asks her if she’s sure she’s up to this.
The memorial for her lifelong friend and Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) boyfriend Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) has just taken place.
That was a traumatic event for everyone, although more for Trina than for Joss. But Josslyn acts like whatever this is she’s planning is something she must do.
Elsewhere, Carly’s finding herself in a confusing conundrum as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is insistent something’s actually up to her.
Drew and Carly are talking about his vendetta against Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) which resulted in Carly becoming editor in chief of Crimson Magazine.
Carly’s been having some problems retaining Crimson’s advertisers and staff, because they were all loyal to Nina. She took the job believing it was temporary but he has no plans to replace her.
At the PCPD, it’s obvious that Special FBI Agent in Charge John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) is on a control trip, telling someone he can end this quick and neat!
He is supposed to be cooperating with the PCPD on the stolen arms case that has resulted in many shootings and several mob hits from different mobs. Yet there have been no turf wars, which is confusing.
Cates is targeting one mobster and one only, and that’s Sonny. Likely, he will say get rid of Sonny and they’ll be rid of the problem!
At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Michael and Willow seem on their way to making up, after separating for about six to seven weeks. He’d moved into the Quartermaine mansion while she and the kids stayed in the gatehouse. It sounds like he’s asking her if he or they are a lost cause-but she smiles and tells him maybe she doesn’t believe in lost causes. It looks like they’re repairing their rift, which had been a serious one.
In the meantime, Sonny’s in his office at Pozzulo’s wanting someone to move forward on a plan. He’s just found out about a string of mob hits and tells someone to stop talking about it and take their best shot.
He may be talking to Brick and that may be his discovery, that he’s been discussing with Jordan.
Now they have to figure out who of all these rival mob bosses are in play in the situation. The problem is, there has been no turf war or serious messages sent, just a bunch of scary pot shots!
