There’s nothing that King Charles wouldn’t want more than to be surrounded by all of his grandchildren right now, especially as he is battling his health woes. But it doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen. There’s some online speculation that Meghan Markle is refusing to allow her children, Archie and Lilibet to travel to the UK. But that’s not because she doesn’t want them to see their grandfather, King Charles. Here’s what you need to know.
Just this past week, it was announced that King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer. While it hasn’t been specified what kind of cancer he has, it didn’t take very long for his son Prince Harry to take the first plane out of Los Angeles to London to be with his beloved father. According to Page Six, one insider close to the situation says that Harry now regrets his entire feud with the royal family and wishes that he could turn back time. Right now all he wants to do is focus on his reconciliation plan with his father and hopefully his brother, Prince William, too.
But if there’s one person who might not agree with the plan, it’s Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle. That’s because she’s not ready to return to the UK, if at all. And while King Charles would love to see his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet. That might not happen. That’s because if they were to go, they would have to travel to the UK without their mother. And Meghan is not going to let that happen. She would never allow Archie and Lilibet to travel so far away from her, let alone to see the royal family. If Charles would want to see the kids, that means he would have to travel to California instead. Clearly, Meghan is not making it easy on anyone.
