Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Alex Learns What Love is

Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) has always thought of himself as quite the playboy and could never really commit to anyone. Even when he was with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), he had a roving eye and thought he had to resort to tricks to keep her. Alex went from woman to woman with ease and never understood the concept of commitment.

But, when Alex falls he falls hard. After a session with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), he now realizes that he is in love with Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) and it’s a feeling he’s never known before.

All he wants to do is protect her and this selfless feeling is strange but also nice. Alex has been asking Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) a lot of questions about Theresa of late so he wondered if Alex wanted to marry her. Of course, Alex denied it but we know he was lying.

Theresa Ends Up In A Panic

Spoilers now indicate that Alex takes what Brady said to heart and discovers that he really does want to marry Theresa. To that end, he buys a ring but Theresa is set to come across that ring before he can give it to her.

Needless to say, Theresa ends up in a panic because she knows Alex will change his mind as soon as he discovers her lies. Theresa has been keeping a major secret from Alex thanks to a trick she initiated. Theresa, along with Konstantin (John Kapelos), tricked everyone into believing that Alex was Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) long-lost son and not Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).

This lie upended everyone’s lives, especially that of Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Alex. Justin was the only father Alex ever knew and that is because Justin IS his father and not Victor. Theresa knows Alex needs to learn the truth at some point, but she also knows she will lose him when she does.

Will seeing the engagement ring that Alex bought convince Theresa the only solution is the truth? It might be better coming from Theresa than coming from someone else, but that will take courage that Theresa might not have.
