Prince Harry has wasted no time in leaving his wife Meghan Markle behind as he is reportedly on his way to the UK already to see his father, King Charles. This comes after the shocking news that the King of England has been diagnosed with cancer. While Buckingham Palace has not specified what kind of cancer it is, it’s been clarified that it is not prostate cancer. Here’s what you need to know.
According to ITV’s Chris Ship, Prince Harry is flying back to see his father, King Charles. The Duke of Sussex has reportedly spoken to his father about his diagnosis and will be traveling to London in the coming days.
Buckingham Palace released a statement about the King of England’s cancer diagnosis. It said, “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted,” according to the emailed statement. “Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”
Of course, many royal fans have been left shocked by King Charles’ cancer diagnosis. Many have taken to social media to weigh in on the matter with, “I may not like Harry, but the king is his dad. I think it’s a good thing that he’s coming, solely because his father loves him,” along with, “Ok that worries me more. Makes me think this is very serious. Harry has been indifferent for some years.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Any son would want to be with their Father. We don’t know the full circumstances yet. It’s very sad news, but I’m sure he will be receiving the best care and treatment. What he will want is positive people around him who will be upbeat and optimistic for him where hopefully all will be well.”

I am so glad Prince Harry is going to see his Father. Any son would be worried if their father was diagnosed with cancer, I have it myself and it is a startling shock when you are told and the aftermath of tests is long and worrisome. I wish the King the best as I am sure every treatment possible will be provided for him.
