General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer’s Presumed Death Will Leave a Traumatized Trina All Alone

General Hospital spoilers reveal Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has just witnessed the love of her life, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) falling off the side of a ship in the English Channel after being drugged by Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

The likelihood of him surviving this plunge into the icy water while drugged isn’t good, and Trina won’t fool herself into thinking so. But the last moments of their time together will replay in her mind in the days to come.

When Esme is apprehended, it’s not going to feel like the relief Trina hoped she would feel when that girl was finally behind bars, because nothing can bring Spencer back.

General Hospital Spoilers — Will Esme Dodge the Authorities?

Word on the street is that Esme will turn up not long after her spill from the ship. She may not even particularly care that she’s been caught by the police as long as she has made Spencer and Trina pay in the end.

Her plan was always to separate them in one way or another, and Spencer being dead works for her. She will always feel like — in the war between her and Trina — she won.

But Spencer’s presumed death at sea won’t just hurt Trina’s broken heart. The ripple effect felt by Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and her family will be earth-shattering.

Knowing she took Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) other son from him the way he took hers will give Esme some semblance of peace that she settled the score — even if she’s going to spend the rest of her days locked up in a cell next to her mother.

Furthermore, Trina’s family may not have been Spencer’s #1 fan, but they’ll grieve the loss of one of their own, too, because the Trina they knew will be gone forever.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nothing Left to Lose

Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has been worried from the beginning of Trina’s affection for Spencer that harm would befall her daughter. It seems that everywhere Spencer goes, trouble follows.

While Portia will be grateful that her daughter is alive, Trina will be far from well. The trauma of being barged in on by Esme, tied up, having to fight her off to save Spencer, and then watching Esme drug him and take him with her overboard will be enough to critically impact Trina and her future.

Her days at the art gallery and pursuing her future will fall by the wayside as she falls into a deep depression, and there is nothing more dangerous than someone who thinks they have nothing left to lose.
