Esme is presumed to be dead, but if there’s anything soap fans have learned throughout the years, it’s that no one is really dead in daytime television because they always come back in one form or another. That’s why many GH viewers think that it will only be a matter of time before Avery Pohl returns to the soap to reprise her role as Asme. Some people believe it might happen as soon as the end of the summer.

Of course, many viewers have expressed that they would love to see Avery Pohl back on the canvas, seeing how she was such a talented actress on the show. Some have even commented on social media with, “Noooo!!! She was one of my favorites on #GH!!! Why does @GeneralHospital keep letting all of the great actors and actresses go??? I have a feeling she will be back,” along with, “Hopefully, she lands on her feet somewhere else in entertainment. I am so glad this character is gone. I don’t want her on #GH as another person, either. It would never work. Too much damage has been done.”

Another fan wrote, “I like Avery! I wish she had a better character to play that gave her good story to last longer. She will be back…how many times have they killed Heather, Ryan, Nelle etc. It’s going to happen.”

So far Avery herself has not made any comments about her future plans and whether or not she would be willing to return to the soap.
