The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update Friday, February 2: Jack & Victor’s Aggression, Billy Reassures Chelsea, Adam’s In For a Surprise

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 2 tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tries to calm down Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) after she loses it over her son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Chelsea knew Connor’s grades weren’t great but more trouble could be brewing. She believed that his new school was the ticket to solving his problem behavior, but now she’s second guessing herself. Billy does his best to help her process the troubling situation.

Connor left his old school due to not getting along with his classmates so Chelsea is worried that he hasn’t turned around. Look for even-kneeled Billy to tell Chelsea that she doesn’t have to carry this burden all by herself, he will help her.

Will Chelsea have such an easy time of it going over things with Connor’s dad, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)? Spoilers indicate she may come between Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Billy Steps Up

Meanwhile, at Newman Media, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) finds his enemy Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) alone with his wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). You better believe that Victor wants to know what’s going on here.

Jack has been acting as her AA sponsor and he could tell a white lie to protect her. Then again, Nikki might surprise him and show that she is stronger than she seems.

Nikki is trying hard to stay sober, and dishonesty will only set her back. She may find the courage to tell Victor everything—or she could tell a lie of her own!

No matter how the conversation goes, Victor will do his best to be the alpha male and try to put Jack in his place. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) foreshadowed a possible reignition of the Jabot/NE rivalry, and this may be the beginning of that war.

Elsewhere Sally surprises Adam. Up to now Sally’s been taking it slow and easy as she and the bad boy consider their relationship status. But with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Sally may make grand plans for the two of them.
