Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jordi Vilasuso, Ex-Rey Rosales, Provides Health Update For His Baby Girl

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that alum Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Rey Rosales) and his wife Kaitlin have had quite a go lately. They welcomed a beautiful baby girl to their family in early January of this year; however, the infant was hospitalized on January 22nd.

The baby contracted RSV and was suffering from a partially collapsed right lung. The couple hit social media shortly after the fact to ask for prayers. His wife provided family, friends, and fans with a health update for their baby girl on January 29th.

Y&R Spoilers: There’s Good News

In her Instagram post, Kaitlin notes how thankful she and her husband are for the prayers and love offered. She writes that they could “literally FEEL” it and that their family has gained strength from everyone’s encouragement.

She adds that their baby girl, named Lucy, is a little fighter, and her lungs look significantly better. She also stated that the baby had been transferred to the NICU.

Kaitlin also notes in her post that their baby girl is still using a machine to assist with breathing. She adds that there are still prayers needed for her, and the family would be grateful if everyone continued to lift Lucy up.

She is still on a CPAP machine; however, Kaitlin adds that everyone is praying that she’ll be weaned off it. The baby’s pulse and respiratory rates are strong, and the C02 in her blood continues to lower.

Kaitlin notes that provided Lucy’s vitals are good, the hospital will move her to regular oxygen and her feeding tube.

Kaitlin also revealed the toll Lucy’s condition has taken on the entire family. She goes on to state that while she’s grateful for the baby’s progress, she’s “physically and emotionally” exhausted as she tries to be there for Lucy and also be there for her two big sisters Evie and Riley.

Kaitlin’s feelings are completely understandable considering the circumstances. Being a parent in this type of situation is beyond challenging.
