General Hospital comings and goings say that this is a move that fans certainly didn’t see coming. Actress Avery Pohl, who is best known for her role as Esme Prince on the hit ABC soap, is leaving Port Charles. Say it isn’t so! Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to Soap Opera Digest, it has been confirmed that Avery is leaving the show. Her final episode was actually on January 31, when both her character and Nicholas Chavez’s character Spencer were both presumed to be dead.
But as many fans have learned throughout the years, when it comes to our favorite soap opera characters, you can never fully assume that they are dead, even when that last nail is hammered into their coffin.
Back in 2022 and while speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the actress admitted that she got a heads up about her comeback far in advance and before everyone found out that she would be written off the show.
Avery put it this way, “Our executive producer, Frank Valentini was like, ‘Hey, by the way, I don’t want you to freak out, but we are writing you off the canvas for a little bit.’ I had no other context for a while. Then, later, he told me, ‘You are being shoved off the parapet.’ And then he later told me Ava was going to be the one who did it. From there, it was just sort of me always trying to find out new information because your brain sort of spins and scrambles when you hear something like that. You’re like, ‘Well, how long will it be until I come back?’ There’s a lot of questions that come to mind.”
The actress added, “For me, it is so much fun to get to play her and understand her and I truly, truly love getting to work with everyone at work and to get to do this insane thing, which is playing pretend for a living.”

I understand why actors do other things, But Trina needs a happy ending let someone fill in for Spencer.
Trina was good at fighting back in the Scenes.
Finish up the lose ends on ,many Scenes.
