General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, January 31 tease precarious predicaments, friendly confrontations, and danger on the island!
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are in a precarious predicament, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) a friendly confrontation, and there’s danger on Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) island!
It sounds like Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) making a sales pitch to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) as she tells her something’s an opportunity she can’t afford to miss.
However, Tracy has her reservations and isn’t easily convinced-she looks quite skeptical. Tracy will take quite a bit of convincing but Carly looks like she won’t give up.
Perhaps she’s trying to sell her Crimson Magazine so she doesn’t have to run it anymore. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) put her in quite a position making her the editor, and Tracy would have to make an offer to Drew since he’s the actual owner.
Meanwhile, on the River Seine in Paris, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has gotten into Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) stateroom.
A dream come true for ‘Sprina’ is quickly becoming their worst nightmare with an off-the-rails Esme armed with duct tape and a syringe! Spencer looks like he’s going to cry as she tells him “that’s what’s going to happen if you don’t do as I say!”
He already found the trail of blood left when she likely killed the ship employee, and perhaps has found Trina bound and gagged and threatened with the syringe when he returned!
It looks like a sales meeting is taking place at Deception Cosmetics, as Sasha Gilmore, (Sofia Mattsson) Maxie Jones, (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) listen.
Maxie asks how favorable are we talking, as it sounds like sales forecasts and possibly sales figures are being given. Deception sales plummeted when the lawsuit over the Deceptor was going on-Maxie will hope they’ve increased, considering she’s had some financial difficulties at home as well.
It’s time for some good news for a change for Maxie. Her roommate Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is becoming more and more problematic!
Meanwhile, downstairs at the Metro Court near the bar, Lois has a friendly confrontation with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). The two have been on the outs since Lois, after Olivia begged her not to, spilled the SEC whistleblower tea to Sonny.
It blew up a lot of lives and relationships, not just Sonny and Nina Reeves Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) but Michael and Willow Corinthos’ (Chad Duell, Katelyn MacMullen).
Now Lois is trying to mend her years-long friendship with Olivia, telling her if she leaves it up to her, they may never speak again!
Even though Nina’s no longer editor of Crimson Magazine, she’s still part owner of the Metro Court and she appears to be in the Metro Court office answering questions.
She doesn’t say much on the record-telling the audience that’s all she has to say on the record. But will she say some things off the record that might wind up as blind items?
It sounds like she certainly might. There’s nothing like a little innuendo to get things nice and controversial!
Meanwhile, near Puerto Rico, there’s danger on Sonny’s island! In spite of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) increasing security both on and around the island, a frightened Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny find themselves dodging bullets.
One of the guards had already been shot and Dex discovered him, and put out an alert-bullets started flying right after.
Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) had barely left the room and Ava is certainly going to worry about her, as well as her father Sonny! Obviously, it’s not Esme they have to be worried about since she’s in Paris, but then, who?
