General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, January 30 tease urgent decisions, interrogations, and threat alerts. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) make an urgent decision, John Brennan (Charles Mesure) gets an interrogation, and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) delivers a threat alert.
At the hospital, Portia and Curtis make an urgent decision upon receiving frightening news from Laura Collins (Genie Francis). In front of the snack machines, Laura tells them they all should know this-Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) wasn’t in Toronto. The bad news is, she was Paris bound, a corporate credit card charge found for a ticket to Paris.
They all know why-Esme is after Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali)! Will Curtis and Portia decide to fly to Paris, in spite of Curtis barely having started physical therapy?
Meanwhile, in Paris, a starry-eyed Trina tells Spencer she can’t believe he did this, as her surprise is a cruise on the Seine River. Esme tracked them to the restaurant where they dined, and no doubt has tracked them to the docks where they’ll board the riverboat, if they’re not already on it.
They don’t realize their dream come true is about to become their worst nightmare. However, Spencer will make a discovery-will he spot Esme? Or will he discover the call on his phone from his grandmother?
At the Port Charles Courthouse, Attorney Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) consults with his client, asking Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) what he wants to do.
Are they going forward as planned, or are they going to go with this new theory? Martin had set it up to call an oncologist, a Dr. Powell (mentioned character) to testify.
Dennis Muldoon (mentioned character) apparently had seen this Dr. Powell for months before he ever went to Dr. Finn. They were hoping to use that fact in defense of Finn.
Meanwhile, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is still in the courtroom and tells someone they’re going to get an education on both-of something!
She must be intending on someone learning their lesson, or lessons plural as the case seems to be. She is continuing to stay in the courtroom to support her favorite doctor, even though she might not be exactly Finn’s favorite patient. What will Tracy teach her prospective students?
Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) are at Pentonville Prison, preparing to interrogate Brennan. Brennan is being less than cooperative, possibly toying with them as Anna tells Jordan he’s playing games. Anna also tells Jordan she wants to know why.
They will continue to try and wear Brennan down until he says something useful. But it looks like this may be an extremely long prison visit before they get usable answers!
On Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) island near Puerto Rico, Dex delivers a threat alert. As Dex and Ava Jerome (Maura West) look on, Sonny says times change, and threats change too.
Apparently, this new threat came out of the blue and Sonny, Ava, Dex and the island will need to be on high alert. Sonny’s security team seems to be on it so far, but who knows what will happen next?
In Paris, Esme appears to be in an alley as she pulls something out of her bag of tricks-it appears to be a very large syringe, like what her mother used.
Heather Webber (Alley Mills) injected LSD into Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) with a large syringe like that-will this be like mother, like daughter? What has Esme planned to do with that syringe regarding Spencer and Trina?
It looks big enough to stab someone in the heart with! Trina and Spencer are in extreme danger!
