The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, January 24 tease that Naked Heiress Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) wants something new to occupy her time.
Besides running Society and being a mom, Abby wants to be on the board of Chancellor-Winters.
Her beau Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) doesn’t share her excitement, but it appears she goes into pitch mode anyway.
Maybe Devon doesn’t like the idea of mixing business with pleasure. But Abby is insistent and used to getting her way. Fans will see Abby push until she secures a board seat and gains the influence she wants.
There’s no shortage of drama at Chancellor-Winters so we could see Abby launched into yet another soapilicious storyline.
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) does what he does best, rescuing damsels from atop his steed. Jack swoops in to rescue Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as she battles to stay sober. Jack is up to his ears in business but as soon as Nikki calls, he races off to help her.
Nikki is reluctant to involve her husband Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in her struggles and up until a few days ago she had an AA sponsor she could lean on. But Seth (Brian Gaskill) is back on the bottle and Nikki needs someone she can trust.
Jack told Nikki he wants to make it up to her for not being there in the past when they were together and she was drinking. Jack is a man of honor so he will go the extra mile to make sure she’s safe.
At least Jack’s wife Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) is aware of his helping behavior, but that’s not the case for Victor who does not like to be left out of the loop. Spoilers tease that he grows upset with the choices she’s making and when she is secretly meeting with Jack, Victor gets an unwelcome feeling that Nikki is about to make a big mistake.
Victor and Nikki are solid after the Oregon House of Horrors, but Jack and Nikki have history so maybe his Spidey sense is going off for a reason?!
