The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Claire can’t help but wonder if she was born evil or if she’s just a product of her environment. It might actually be a combination of the two, too. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
During the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, Claire pondered about some of her life choices when Nikki Newman came to visit her and told her that she doesn’t want to hate her. While Nikki thinks what Jordan did to her was horrible, Claire can’t help but wonder if she’s inherently evil. After all, it’s not like anyone held her against her will when she was trying to kill the Newmans alongside her “Aunt” Jordan.
It goes without saying that many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “I’m enjoying Claire but I’m tired of seeing her play all her scenes FROM HER BED! Can’t they at least put a sofa or chair or two in her room??” along with, “We need Claire to do therapy with a therapist and not Nikki or Victoria. Id love to see Claire have breakthroughs and not have her tell us “oh I had a breakthrough just an hour ago”. The drama is discovering all that she went through. Even if we have flashbacks of a young Claire being over the ages being abused and manipulated by Jordan.”
Another Y&R fan wrote, “The Claire/Nikki scenes were good. EH has been excellent as this damaged woman and Nikki trying to be sympathetic. The performances really elevated the writing. Erin Hayley is a great actress and would love to see her revelations come out in dramatic scenes with a therapist, not with Nikki. I am not for having therapists with characters only because we saw the scenes, with Claire we haven’t seen her upbringing and it would be great to see how her life was affected.”
