It looks like things are going just as smoothly as they can go. There’s a new report that says Kate Middleton is supposedly “doing well” as she recovers from abdominal surgery in the hospital. Many royal fans and critics alike were surprised to hear the news that the Princess of Wales was even hospitalized to begin with. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
It was reported earlier in the week that Kate Middleton was at The London Clinic for her surgery and that she will remain in the hospital for the next two weeks. Not only that, but she is expected to be out of the spotlight for many months to come as well. So far the Princess of Wales is doing well, though.
According to The Times, Prince William is also expected to cancel all of his future royal engagements and public appearances until further notice so he can be by his wife’s side. There’s a chance that their scheduled trip to Italy will also be canceled. She is also expected to spend a lot of time with her family, which include her parents Carole and Michael Middleton and her siblings, Pippa and James Matthews.
Of course, many royal fans have commented on the matter with, “This whole thing is just weird. It sounds like KP is trying to both downplay it and play it up at the same time – it was a planned surgery, she’s doing well, but oh she will be in hospital for 2 weeks,” along with, “Very weird – and the KP announcement said she apologized to for all the events she would have to postpone. If something is planned, you surely don’t schedule any events, no?”
Another critic wrote, “The footage of the convoy going to the hospital near Kensington palace on December 28 really seems to suggest something closer to a psychological issue, which explains the vague terms for recovery and the uncertainty even after 3 months.”

I think it is crazy she is hospitalized for 2 weeks for abdominal surgery I had 2 c sections and was out with a newborn in 2 days My husband had complete hip replacement and only spent 1 1/2days I think something else is going on
I also had a c-section and was in the hospital 5 days and hysterectomy for 5 days because I had an infection or I would have been out in 3. Hope she is ok but doesn’t sound too good. Prayers for her and her family.
Let’s give her a brake. The public is only told so much. No one knows for sure what is wrong with Catherine. She and the family might not want the public to know to protect her children.
