General Hospital spoilers indicate that Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return to Port Charles could be a bit more complicated than one might think. Let’s consider Jason’s exit to explain why.

Jason has been gone for more than two years with no word to anyone. This means one of three things. Jason was kidnapped again. Jason lost his memory again. Jason has been in a coma all this time.

No One Believed Jason Morgan Survived

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Jason has been presumed dead all of this time because no one believed he could have survived this cave-in.

However, Jason has survived similar situations before. However, the fact that no one has heard from him points to there being something else going on. So where has Jajson been all of this time?

Chances are that memory loss is the most likely reason that Jason hasn’t been heard from. Jason has suffered memory loss before and even became a crane operator and a dock worker.

Jason was also a currier for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) years ago. Jason could have been working any number of jobs anywhere and had no idea who he was if that was the case.

Jason Quartermaine was studying to be a doctor before the near-fatal car crash turned him into Jason Morgan. Jason has used his training quite a few times in the past even though he doesn’t remember his lie as a Quartermaine.

Unless these writers want to rewrite decades of history, Jason can never regain his memories of the first 20 years of his life.

Jason could have been kidnapped by some of Victor Cassadine’s (ex-Charles Shaughnessy) men and been held all of this time. After all, Jason was on Cassadine Island.

Jason was gone when the sonar was used to try to locate him so he couldn’t have been in the tunnels very long before he was moved elsewhere or simply walked away.

General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan’s Past Is In Port Charles

Jason’s entire past surrounds Port Charles from birth until he disappeared. However, regaining his memory has taken some work before. Jason has forgotten Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) but still felt a connection to her.

Jason has forgotten Sonny only to have him from certain death in the nick of time. Even Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) may be hard for him to recall.

Jason’s return could also be complicated by the relationship changes that have taken place as well. It seems that everyone he knows is with someone new and that could be a hard pill to swallow.

Who will be the first person Jason chooses to trust or actually remembers when he does return home? How hard will it be for Jason to reconnect with his loved ones?
