And because they know that their relationship is very much public fodder, they are apparently going to do it very slowly, but also very surely, too. At least, that’s what a lot of fans and critics alike seem to believe on X (formerly Twitter). Here’s what you need to know.

It has to be very hard for the chart topper and her boyfriends to be in the spotlight all the time. And with all of the media pressure, there’s no doubt that things sometimes end as quickly as they began.

Of course, social media has a lot to say about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s very possible break up. A lot of people don’t seem to believe that their love and their relationship are both ‘real’ to begin with. Some have even commented with, “If wearing a custom jacket with your boyfriend’s name and jersey number is soft launching a break up I want that kind of break up,” along with, “Yeah I don’t believe it. It’s so funny to me that people don’t understand how the NFL schedule works he basically has nothing to do between whenever his season ends and late July so he can go on tour with her in the spring and summer.”

Another critic wrote, “Well on the positive side … if they are soft launching their break-up at least there is mutual respect and there won’t be anger or resentment involved! Both of them ending it with their reputations intact is a great goal if it wasn’t’ working out.”
