Y&R Spoilers Update Tuesday, January 16: Heather’s Omission, Phyllis’s Lingerie, Nikki’s Disappointment

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 16 indicate that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) receives upsetting news.

This likely has to do with Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) prison visit with Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Nikki did not want her daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) taking Claire to see the woman who tried to kill the Newman family, with Claire’s help. She has a point.

Spoilers reveal that Claire did undergo catharsis, but at what price? The event drove Nikki into a catastrophic bender, plus Jordan now has it out for Claire.

As they flew back to Genoa City, Wisconsin from Oregan, Claire told Victoria about the visit, including Jordan not giving up on harming the Newmans, which now includes her.

Victoria is focused on raising Claire, not worrying about Jordan–apparently that’s Nikki’s job. Nikki lost the most during the cabin mayhem, and she is leaning on her AA sponsor Seth (Brian Gaskill).

However, it is very possible that Seth is a plant, or that Jordan managed to lure him away from his responsibilities to Nikki.

Y&R spoilers: Danny And Christine Reunited

Meanwhile, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) enjoyed a weekend away together and snoopy Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wants the details.

Phyllis fishes for clues like a bass pro fisherman and could get an earful. Will she learn that the trip was Cricket’s idea, not Danny’s?

Later, Christine encounters her enemy and Phyllis can’t help but taunt her. Phyllis lets her know that she thinks Christine is threatened by her and dragged Danny out of town because of her insecurities.

After the catfight is over, look for Phyllis to dig up some lingerie, and big plans, for Danny!

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Heather’s Secret

Elsewhere, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) keeps a secret from her ex Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). They toasted the New Year with a kiss, and photo evidence exists of them getting cozy.

Spoilers tease that she keeps info from Daniel and it might just be about a call from his boo, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Lily is away taking care of her daughter, and an observant Danny warned Daniel not to let Heather get to him. Still, Daniel is clearly ambivalent about Heather and while not leading Heather on, he is sending mixed signals that could result in spontaneous combustion!
