The Young and the Restless fans are making it pretty clear that they don’t think Phyllis Summers should appear as desperate and sleazy as the writers are making her out to be. It seems like she’s so desperate to land Danny in bed that she’s walking around with nothing but her bra, panties and robe on. Is Phyllis Summers really that desperate to steal Danny from Cricket? That’s what some fans can’t help but think. And while we’ve seen Phyllis do some crazy things over the years, nothing looked crazier than when she greeted Danny with nothing but a robe on. Is this Genoa City in 1986 again?
Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “Phyllis gets ready to meet Danny. She puts on only her undergarments and a coat. Gross. Gross. I cannot take anymore of viagra triangle,” along with, “I know that you can’t stop Phyllis Summers but it got worse with every scene. Give the woman a little dignity already because no one wants to see this anymore.”
Another The Young and the Restless critic wrote, “I like Phyllis a lot but she can keep her clothes on. She’s not this desperate. Sure, she’s done a lot over the years but she’s smart enough to get any man. Danny is no fool. The writers didn’t have to have Phyllis stoop to this level. But then again nothing really surprises me on this show anymore.”
