General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, January 11 tease offers to help, sharing memories and finding clues. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) offers to help, and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and many others share memories of Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) while Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) finding clues.
As Bobbie’s memorial continues, Robert offers to help as he stands by a pensive Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). He says to let him make a few calls-this could be about finding WSB contacts who can help in Felicia and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) overseas mission.
Now that the corrupt WSB director is gone, Robert should be able to find more reliable and helpful contacts.
Robert’s a busy DA with his fingers in a lot of legal pies so he could also be referring to another case. One is regarding Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) attack on Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and another Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) breaking and entering case.
Elizabeth remembers Bobbie and talks about how she never made her feel ashamed. This may be a memory that’s part of Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) and Angela Brighton’s (Brighton Hertford) special project talking with the citizens of Port Charles memories of Bobbie.
It sounds like Elizabeth may especially be referring to when Bobbie took care of her after her horrible rape as a teenager. Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) had found her and brought her into GH for treatment, Elizabeth didn’t even want her grandma to know what happened.
Maxie and many citizens of Port Charles will remember Bobbie and share their memories in the special project she and Angela are working on.
Angela was an associated press reporter who came to Bobbie’s funeral and knew her because she was working on helping with a human trafficking rescue organization. Bobbie may have actually gotten Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) estate straightened out and remained in Amsterdam because of this.
There will be many special classic scenes in flashbacks of those memories talked about those who knew her. Since the reporter is played by the now grown actress who played BJ Jones, that subject is bound to be mentioned.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is in tears as she says she guesses she’s one very lucky woman-even though she and Bobbie sometimes clashed.
She likely is talking about being lucky to have known Bobbie, in spite of their clashes over everything from Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to the Nurses’ Ball.
Lucy’s last clash with Bobbie was when she was playing dead as part of an investigation into Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Her showing up at the Nurses’ Ball led to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Ace Prince-Cassadine’s (Joey and Jay Clay) kidnapping to Greenland, which happened during the ball.
Felicia and Carly are already in Amsterdam at the café Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) mentioned Bobbie frequented close to Luke’s apartment, where she was staying.
Felicia tells Carly she thinks they might have just found Bobbie’s contact. This would be the contact to the volunteer organization Bobbie was working with to help victims of human trafficking.
Angela Brighton had revealed when she passed she was trying to get a victim to the states, and Carly wants to finish that unfinished business.
The contact will be the first link to a series of others and will begin Felicia and Carly’s search. Carly knows how important it would be to Bobbie to make sure the girl got to safety.
Carly makes a beautiful tribute to her late mother as she says there was a whole side to her that she didn’t know anything about. That would be the side that became a rescuer of these victims and staying overseas to do it.
Carly will learn many things about Bobbie in her later years that she had no idea of, Bobbie wasn’t one to brag. The best tribute Carly could make would be to find this young girl and make sure she’s safe.
