The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, January 9: Cole & Ashley Reconnect, Kyle’s Fury, Chance Rejects Summer?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 9 tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is stunned when she bumps into Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

She and her ex-husband catch up on why he is in Genoa City, Wisconsin, with Cole reliving the nightmare that brought him back to town after 20 years.

Ashley is gobsmacked to learn about Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). Claire is/was Baby Eve, the daughter that Cole and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) were told was dead.

Instead, her evil aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) kidnapped her and brainwashed her to believe that her parents and the Newman family rejected her.

Cole needs a sympathetic shoulder and Ashley provides one. Her words of wisdom and support give him such much needed confidence.

Y&R spoilers: Kyle’s Woes

Elsewhere, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) loses it over sneaky Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). He never should have gotten into bed with her (literally and figuratively) and now he’s paying the price.

Kyle told Audra all about how his family were further setting up Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) by manufacturing a fake product in a bid to destroy him and his reputation.

If he discovers that she has deceived him he will go berserk and he has no one to blame but himself. Show spoilers tease that the Abbotts will have to re-strategize their plan to take Tucker down!

Meanwhile, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is ready to take action after having several conversations about her feelings for Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Her mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) told her to go for it, as did her brother Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).

But Summer expressed hesitation about going after Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) man, especially after they had an awkward conversation about it, one that was interrupted when Chance walked into the coffeehouse.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: What Happens Next in Genoa City, Wisconsin?

Summer is ready to play her cards without knowing that Sharon broke things off with Chance. Will she spill her feelings and ask him on a date? Now might not be a good time seeing as how he’s hurting from being dumped.

He might even conclude that something Summer said to Sharon spurred their breakup.
