General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, January 9, 2024, tease admonishments, consolations and clashes. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) admonishes Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) offers consolation, and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) clash.

General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Ashford Prepares

It looks like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is at GH preparing for his experimental procedure as he tells Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) he promised he wouldn’t do that again.

He’s in bed and it certainly looks like a hospital room, the promise likely referring to him backing out of the opportunity at the last minute. He was concerned earlier what would happen if it didn’t work-but if he survives it, he’d still be there, no better, no worse.

There’s a risk, and it’s experimental, but if nothing is ventured, nothing is gained. It’s a wait and see situation for everyone but they can’t know if it will work if he doesn’t try.

GH Spoilers: Trina Robinson Confesses

Elsewhere, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) confesses to Stella that she did something terrible. It’s uncertain what she could be talking about unless it’s not forgiving Esme, but even the religious Stella wouldn’t have a problem with that.

Trina certainly does look like she feels guilty, but she will get good advice. Sometimes people have to make decisions when they don’t have all the information, that’s just part of life.

General Hospital Spoilers: Alexis Davis And Gregory Chase’s Unexpected Kiss

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) asks Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) “ok, what’s next”? They found themselves sharing an unexpected kiss-and they wouldn’t know what’s next. How do they handle romantic feelings between themselves when Gregory’s ALS is progressing?

Will Alexis continue to stay close, or back away, since the last time she fell in love it ended in tragedy? At least this time she knows what she might be getting into.

GH Spoilers: Why Is She There?

At the PCPD, Ava Jerome (Maura West) has questions for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). She wants to know why she needs to be there if they’ve already confessed?

This must be about the break-in at Wyndemere, since Laura has brought Esme in and they’re in another room. Ava may need to decide if she’s pressing charges or not since there was only minor damage covered by insurance.

Meanwhile, Laura admonishes Esme to do the right thing as she tells her to just tell the truth, causing Esme to look shocked. Esme had broken in trying to make sense of traumatic and some not so traumatic memories that returned, although she didn’t tell everything.

Esme may have referred to them as memory flashes, even though she has total recall now.

Laura recognized her one red glove as she was having lunch with her and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). It was a match to the one found at the crime scene.

GH Spoilers: Consolations

Sonny is with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) at Kelly’s, offering consolation and support over Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) death. He tells Carly he’ll be thanking Bobbie in his prayers.

Sonny is out on bail for the second degree assault charge regarding his beating of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). He will be able to attend Bobbie’s funeral and support Carly and his family.

General Hospital Spoilers: Clashes

It looks like Marshall and Stella are also at the hospital, likely waiting on Curtis to come through his procedure. Marshall is upset and shouts at Stella if she can’t be all in, then don’t be there at all! Marshall and Stella too had a recent unexpected romantic moment at Christmas, although they quickly distracted themselves otherwise.

Marshall could be frustrated with Stella for being wishy-washy about their involvement with each other. Stella may not feel it’s right to have romantic entanglements with her late sister’s husband!
