General Hospital spoilers say that a major character is about to die on screen and it shouldn’t surprise anyone, either. That’s because it’s been a few years since they’ve seen this person on the canvas, too. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
There’s a lot of speculation that Jasper Jacks might be the next character to be killed off in this fictional town of Port Charles. And if that happens, Jax’s daughter Josslyn will inherit all of his money, which will make her the richest but also youngest billionaire in town. It’s also been noted that Jax definitely has more money than the Cassadines and Quartermaines combined.
Of course, there were a lot of General Hospital fans who had plenty to say about the matter. Some added, “I actually love that idea. Jax is no more and Jax never should have been. And Joss as a billionaire needs her own reality show like Kristina,” along with, “Honestly, I am cool with them killing him off. However, I also think there are many men in his age bracket who have aged like fine wine and could play a sexy billionaire. Carly could use an excuse to dump Drewfus and Jason doesn’t need to apply.”
Another fan wrote, “Seriously. It’d be a great meaty storyline for Eden as well. I’d love to see her have a storyline outside of the men in Joss’ life.”
If that weren’t enough, it’s also been suggested that Jax could die of Covid, too. Wouldn’t that be an interesting twist? As many fans can recall, actor Ingo Rademacher, who last played Jax on the show, was let go after he refused to comply with the ABC network’s vaccine mandate back in 2021. That would be a wild way to end things for the character.

I think killing Jax is a great idea. As mentioned the story would give Joss so much meaty material. Add the fact if they have him die from Covid, it would be pertinent as the illness has not been mentioned in the show. I find that to be remiss of GH since they are usually so forward thinking with real world issues and disease.
I hope if they do this, they wait at least a few months. On the heels of Jackie's (Bobbie) passing, and Eden (Joss) losing her Mom, I'd hate to see her have to play the grieving daughter, knowing the sorrow she's more than likely still dealing with. Although, I know Eden would knock those scenes out of the park, cause she's an amazing actress, who doesn't always get to show what she is really capable of. I just think it's too much too soon. And even for just the show and storyline, so soon after Bobbie, just seems wrong. They can recast, or just mention once in awhile that he and Joss spoke on the phone or Facetime or something, and leave it like it is, for now.
Either can be removed from canvas forever, but please no COVID!!

Jax could die, but it doesn't mean he would leave all of finances to Joss and only Joss.
I have no problem in letting Jax; leave the show but please please don't kill him off from Covid that is not good when there were a lot of people really dying from the horrible disease. Kill him off another way.
I think killing Jax off by covid is a terrible idea as well as distasteful & disgusting. They would do it just because Ingo refused the jab & was fired so he tried suing Disney. That is being spiteful to the actor & they know it. So let's drop that idea & kill him off a different way. Not in the way things went down.
